Electroacoustic music&electronic music

Unlike classical music in European, electroacoucoustic music doesn't use the classical music instrument and add the electronic musical instruments like computer software, keyboard and so on. Why this attract me is because electronic music is my favorite music genre. The term has been used to describe the music of many DJ Mag Top 100 DJs. And I think they have something in common.I enjoy listening the sounds from various electronic instruments. Although most people think it is noisy, I am addicted in the exciting DJ live's atmosphere. For example, the 2014 ultra music festival in Miami. My friends went to the festival and told me it was awesome!
Refer to DJ, I have to say one of my favorite DJ--Hardwell. He is Top 1 DJ in 2014. I watched his live at ultra music festival 2014 on youtube. (check it out:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cB0zJGnvhj4 )
Unlike other pop music, it emphasizes the sounds of instruments themselves instead of vocal voice. The remix of multiple electronic sounds by DJ is the main part.

  1. Though John Cage used traditional instruments, he did figure out a way to create different sounds with just a single piano. Cage invented the idea of the prepared piano; a piano thats sound is altered by placing objects on top of or between the strings. He was used to working with a percussion group, but when there was not enough room in the venue, he improvised. He thought it was impossible “to place in the hands of a single pianist the equivalent of an entire percussion orchestra." The prepared piano fixed this problem by creating the prepared piano to create a variety of sounds.

  3. While John Cage did use traditional instruments, he was really well known for his use of not only the prepared piano, but other prepared instruments, household items, bathtubs, randomly tuned radios, voices reading words from a novel, experimental sounds with the vocal chords, sheets of metal, tape recorders, and record players. He rejected the ideas of vertical sensitivity, logical consequence and pitch, which have been around for thousands of years in music. As a result of Cage, music was finally equal parts creating and listening. This paved the way into performance art, too, since now the process of creating music was an art form in and of itself.
